Polyellipsoidal front light (frontlight, headlight) for motorbikes (made by CEV - Italy)
The
semispherical lens is of thick glass and no extra protection is needed. A bearing
plate is provided to consent an easy assemblage. The plate is an integral part
of the headlight, as shown in the picture.
A 55 W single-light halogen lamp
in the inside produces a wide and powerful beam which does not disturb who is
driving in the opposite direction. This way, the double-light is not necessary,
however you can still install a double-light lamp by slightly widen the lamp space
(widening the lamp space is something you have to do yourself and we do not supply
any additional necessary materials).
Not approved for road driving.
| This article is usually installed on motorbikes with race fairing. For street motorbikes, you have to cover/close the headlight hole and make another hole of 65 mm diameter. The polyellipsoidal light will go within and will be fixed on the fairing directly. No device for heading regulation is provided: you will have to regulate it yourself when installing the light. |
